Tech/Engineering - Aerospace / Aviation / Space / remotely powered aircraft (RPA)
Spanish term or phrase: armado de motor
This document is about Flight Synthetic Training Devices (FSTD - flight simulation) for remotely powered aircraft (RPA). This subsection is on flight controls, specifically whether those in the FSTD match those in the RPA to be flown by the pilot. Original doc is from Spain --> British English.

Context: "Controles de funciones con impacto en la seguridad (ej. armado de motor, inicio/interrupción de RTH, sistema de terminación del vuelo)"

My working term at this point is "engine power-up" or something along those lines, but I'm not completely confident.

Many thanks in advance.

arming the engine/motor
Explanation:
I'm posting this per the discussion, but I'm not too sure about it as most references relate to rockets, kind of like arming a missile I suppose.

Here's a reference to "arming a motor" regarding a remote-controlled aircraft, but I don't know what it relates to exactly:
My Eflight 25 watt ESC is acting up it won't arm the motor. I have a 4 channel Futaba radio and have the throttle channel reversed.

Notes to answerer
Asker: While this would most likely work in another context, in mine (something the pilot does in pre-flight), it seems unlikely. Thanks!
