promet

English translation: marketing

Serbian to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / clinical trials
Serbian term or phrase: promet
Context:

This is a translation from English. I need to construct a back translation into English.

Can anyone comment on the above? To me, the word promet is in a wrong position in the sentence. Hence, an English translation would not make sense. Or am I wrong?

Explanation:
In the case of drugs which do not have registration for marketing in Serbia, a shelf life is proposed.
(Apparently the class of drugs being discussed is that of certain materials which are not required to be registered.)
(The Asker is correct in assuming that the sentence has been corrupted by the initial translator.)

"launching" is unidiomatic in the present context of authorization/registration for marketing.

Explanation:

neutral  Sladjana Daniels: dozvola za stavljanje u promet = marketing authorization (to apply for or receive one)
