Explanation:

„Media Ownership and Regulation in Australia

In any situation where market power is highly concentrated, it is especially important that consumers have access to effective and responsive complaints mechanisms. Complaints to Australian regulatory and self-regulatory bodies such as the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) and the Australian Press Council (APC) are rising significantly, yet it is not clear that the public has access to sufficiently rapid or effective responses or sanctions when media performance fails to live up to its own codes or widely shared public standards.“

„Canadian Broadcast Standards Council
Journalistic Independence Code

Complaints concerning issues relating to broadcast journalistic aspects of cross-media ownership shall be submitted to the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council, which will deal with them in accordance with the Council's established procedures. Complaints may come from any source, including both the broadcast industry and the general public. They will be initially reviewed by the CBSC Secretariat in order to determine whether or not they relate to the Principles and Practices established herein and raise an issue requiring adjudication. Any complaints requiring adjudication shall be submitted to the Council's Journalistic Independence Panel.“

Media pluralism and concentration of ownership: the case of the United Kingdom.

One of the major shareholders in the cable company NTL/Virgin Media, which had previously unsuccessfully proposed a merger with ITV, Richard Branson called for the BSkyB acquisition to be referred to the Office of Fair Trading which received the complaint, reported to the Secretary of State (who, unprecedentedly, referred the matter to Ofcom for a public interest investigation) and who referred the matter to the Competition Commission for determination (by December 2007).

claim

Explanation:

I onda reg, telo to odbacuje, npr.

registration of merging

Explanation:
