folk ensemble Explanation: This has been asked before, but I am not mad keen on "cultural artistic society" - I mean it's a literal translation, but your average English speaker would probably have no idea what that is. Question is, is a KUD always an "ensemble", or is it a club where the members don't necessarily also form part of the troupe/ensemble, in which latter case the expression might not be appropriate. |
