Russian term or phrase: ароматный консерватизм
Дом ххх с его ароматным консерватизмом и добротным качеством

This is about a London fashion house and this part of the text is about its rather conservative image. The traditional customers for its clothes are listed as retired officers, elderly ladies, middle-aged businessmen and civil servants.
Does ароматный express an idea which is appropriate to this context? - if ароматный means "having an aroma" or perhaps "tasty", how exactly does it fit into this context?
Is ароматный консерватизм a normal combination of words?

If you translated "tasteful conservatism" from English into Russian, wouldn't you use a different adjective?

English translation:a strong/distinct/pronounced flavour of conservatism
Explanation:
I wouldn't say "ароматный консерватизм" is a widely used expression, in fact this is the first time I come across this combination of words, but as I see it, the idea is of something that looks distinctly conservative in a positive and appealing sense.

When translating "tasteful conservatism" back into Russian I would probably use "элегантный консерватизм".

Thank you very much. Your ideas have definitely given me something to work with. "Strong", as you suggest, is a possible word here. "Strong conservatism" is a bit bald - you're right, a longer phrase is better. "Flavour" and "accent" are options - "a strong conservative accent" perhaps. Thanks to all!

ароматный консерватизм
below

Explanation:
Here and considering the context description provided (for "tasteful conservatism"), I'd probably use in Russian equivalent for: imperial / regal / traditional
(instead of ароматный)
ароматный консерватизм = the only thing I feel here: coffee (and/or pipe tobacco) aromas
But the Russian adjective ароматный belongs more to culinary, you know.

ароматный консерватизм
flagrant conservatism, instead of fragrant conservatism

Explanation:
