Russian term or phrase: Сырная душа

Title of an article in a business magazine about an Italian who has set up a cheese-making business in Moscow. I want to avoid the adjective "cheesy", because though it can be just a simple adjective from cheese (cheesy taste, for instance) it far more often has negative implications (deplorable, unfashionable, in poor taste, etc), so I can't call the guy (if you take it as being applied to him) as a "cheesy soul" or "cheesy spirit". I could take a more general approach and call it "Spirit of Cheese", I suppose, but that sound like an alcoholic drink produced from cheese. Any suggestions?
