amphipod, in support of 2rush's answer
Explanation:
Gammarus Pulex

The gammarus (Gammarus pulex), a freshwater inhabitant, is a representative
of the Amphipoda order. The average size of this crustacean is only 1cm, so
there are few lakes in which its density is high enough to inhabit. However,
within Russia, some of these lakes are located in Western Siberia.

Nowadays, biological feeds are of great importance for pisciculture,
the poultry industry, and animal husbandry. It is not without reason
then that the gammarus feed is regarded as one of the best types of
biological feeds, because of its high nutritional value and high
content of digestible protein and carotin (vitamin A and its provitamins).

The gammarus feed is indispensable to fish factories rearing valuable
species of fish, such as trout, sturgeon, carp, etc. It is also widely
employed by poultry breeders and bird-fanciers as a high-nutritive albumen
additive incorporated in feeds for all kinds of birds.

The gammarus feed can likewise successfully be used for rearing all species
of aquarium fish.

Before being marketed, the dried gammarus that we offer you is tested in
a laboratory for bacteria and radiation. Then, according to the results
obtained, a veterinary certificate is issued. The quality of the product
(parameters of various indices and permissible divergences) is then
submitted by contract to the buyer for his approval.

Chemical analysis of the dried gammarus.

Ingredients:
protein (albumen) 59.4 %
oil 5.6 %
carbohydrates 2.5 %
ash 25 %

Content of vitamins and minerals:
potassium 3.3 mg
phosphorus 3.7 mg
carotin and carotinoids (provitamins A) 0.8 mg
provitamin D 0.97 - 0.99 mg
vitamin C 4.36 - 5.88 mg

Calorie content: 3.97 - 4.53 C

Our experience in extracting the gammarus is based upon 15 years of work.

A considerable amount of the dried gammarus is being exported. We hope for
a successful and mutually beneficial partnership!

We look forward to your proposals.

Explanation:
