neutral  Lara Barnett: "Darned"is generally used to describe a mending procedure when sewing. It is not very commonly used otherwise. / I am not sure that you are aware of the difference with a huckaback towel and the meaning of "to darn" in current English usage.

  -> Nu sunt foarte sigură că ştiţi ce înseamnă "ţesut" - în link-ul oferit la referinţe este vorba despre un prosop ţesut de aceea am adăugat "darned" între paranteze. Şi da, ţeserea este şi o tehnică de cârpire.
