You are right to assume that "tickle my ear" does not sound good. It is basically not an expression that we use here and it sounds very odd. We do have an expression "to be tickled pink", however, I would say that the emphasis here is usually on something either comically funny, or with a suggestion of extreme enjoyment, and this sounds like it would be too strong for your context - for example if I made a very funny mistake in something that I said or did and you were laughing for a long time you would say "tickled pink". Therefore, I would be careful when using English expressions as they usually have very precise meanings. Also be careful about making an expression up in English because as you have noticed, this does not sound very good usually. |
