During his inaugural speech, held on March 23, 1863, professor, deputy diet, editor of prestigious publication Concordia , Al. Roman said that it was his duty to promote Romanian culture an language at the prestigious University of Budapest.
In between January 1863 - December 1866, professor Al. Roman led Concordia
publication. The Literary and Political Journal was initiated by Chioar diet deputy, Sigismund Victor Popp, on August 15, 1861.
