Me fue imposible entrar a los trabajos abandonados; la galería descendiente de San Antonio, abierta en el esquisto negro de Villeta, estaba inundada. Las paredes de la mina estaban recubiertas de eflorecencias de sulfato de calcio y de magnesia, debido a la alteración de las piritas y de las concreciones calcáreas.
