amende/intérêts Explanation: Como esse termo já não se usa no Brasil e o dicionário não ajudou muito, pesquisei um pouco e foi isto o que achei, daí a minha sugestão, que parece adequar-se ao seu contexto "Como -não raramente- o quinto não era pago integralmente e os valores não pagos eram acumulativos, era preciso intensificar a cobrança, confiscando-se bens e objetos d'ouro.
