I do not recall seeing much of "menus" in Portuguese manuals, so when I read the above mentioned text I stumble upon it. Is it better to avoid "menus"? What do you think?

Explanation:
I'm an ex SAP consultant. The main menu bar on the screen is simply known as the Menu bar. Please see the documentation I've linked you to.

Really you need SAP access to translate SAP documentation effectively.
