I am translating a Brazilian document on the test procedure to be followed for tests involving animals. The document frequently uses "control", "grupo de controle" to refer to the control groups, but now it uses "controle" alongside "testemunha", which I always thought was "control" in Engllish. The current segment of the translation contains just "Controle Testemunha". Any suggestions as to how I can get round this please?

Explanation:
Hi Heather.
The "control group" is called "witness". The expression "grupo controle testemunha" it's not technically used. You can translate "control group" only.
