Yes, you're right. I've never had it done but I think it involves applying a chemical and then pulling an iron through it. I guess the problem with using 'Brazilian hair straightening' is that a foreign audience may not be familiar with what it involves. But if it's trying to sell it to consumers, then using 'Brazilian' rather than 'chemical' would probably sound more appealing. Depends if it's for consumers or manufacturers.
