Study of the effect of pressure on the swelling of the Eocene shale in the polymer-potassium drillin Explanation: Study of the effect of pressure on the swelling of the Eocene shale in the polymer-potassium drilling mud(s) ccccccc Comparison of the effect of inhibited drilling muds parameters on the physical and mechanical properties of shale rocks This paper presents the results of laboratory tests on the effect of inhibited drilling muds of different rheological and inhibition properties on the physical and mechanical parameters of shales. Polymer-potassium and glycol-potassium muds were selected for these studies. Measurements of the physico-mechanical properties of rocks were done using the Szreiner method, first in the air-dry state and after 48 hours, the impact of muds at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure and under HPHT. Also determined were the inhibition properties of prepared drilling muds through the study of Miocene shale Therefore, it is essential what type of drilling mud is used, particularly its inhibition properties. Such muds should primarily be capable of counteracting the dispersion and swelling of shale material and do not cause deterioration of hydraulic conductivity in the production area. http://archiwum.inig.pl/inst/nafta-gaz/nafta-gaz/Nafta-Gaz-2... |
