Wypowiadam się na podstawie doświadczenia z dokumentami klienta.

To-to prawidłowo po polsku się nazywa "audyt kontrolny", chyba że coś przeoczyłam.

Chodzi o audyt pozwalający na przedłużenie ważności certyfikatu, w odróżnieniu od audytu certyfikującego (certification audit), w wyniku którego uzyskuje się (pierwszy) certyfikat.
