Design of Through Arch Overpass Bridges Explanation: In the link https://uprawnienia-budowlane.com/blog/klasyfikacja-obiektow... it says the following: "Podział mostów ... 8. wg położenia pomostu na przęśle: z jazdą górą z jazdą dołem z jazdą pośrednią" On page 2 of the link http://zm.pwr.wroc.pl/kuzawa/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Most... you can find a graphic representation of the łuk ze ściągiem z jazdą dołem and the łuk zamocowany w podporach z jazdą pośrednią. It relates to the position of the deck (or the floor) of the bridge (i.e. whether it is below the arch structure [z jazdą dołem] or whether the arch structure is both below the deck and above it [z jazdą pośrednią]. In English, this is called a through arch bridge or a half-through arch bridge. See the link below: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Through_arch_bridge The bridge looks like it crosses through the arch structure, thus the name "through arch bridge." Take a look at this book on page 267 regarding bridge structures as well: https://bit.ly/2TDAQtB In addition, a wiadukt drogowego refers to flyovers or overpass bridges, so I would translate your line as follows: Design of Through Arch Overpass Bridges |
