Polish to English translations [PRO] Science - Archaeology
I have the motto: live and let live. While it is true that sometimes askers abuse the privilege of posting questions here and ask more than permitted by the rules, most of the time there are good reasons to ask for a bit longer answer. Here, for example, you will find wykop/wkop/przekop each individually translated as excavation, hence trying to distinguish the three makes sense. As far as providing an answer longer than the question, it does happen that an answer must be put in context. I try to be guided by the principle that our answers may one day be used by others who might appreciate a fuller answer placed within its proper context. In any case, your point, geopiet, is well taken: rules are there for a reason, and it would not have violated any principle of man or God to have broken up this question into three separate questions.
2.1 One term is allowed per question. Including multiple terms for translation in a single KudoZ posting interferes with the process of generating glossary entries.
