European number (E no.) Explanation: Just a guess really. Everyone is entitled to one. It means that if you fall ill in say, Spain you show the card (it's like a credit card) and it means you don't pay. I think. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day2 hrs (2008-02-22 13:00:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- i.e. everyone is entitled to a E number (if you are an EU/EEA citizen). If you check out www.ehic.org.uk you will find that it's called a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) (if that's what it means). Good luck! |
