Norwegian term or phrase: river
A position in a factory that makes coco peat briquettes,e.g.: "Få et hjelpeverktøy til rivere for hva som skal benyttes i torv/kokos blandingen samt etter hvilke parameter berederanlegget bør kjøres."

So, this is not a reiver/reaver (a thief), not a renderer (someone works with animal fats), but a river. Yes, it's in one of my English dictionaries as "a person who rives". But will any English-speaking person will ever recognize it as such? Come quickly with any possible alternatives, before I rive my remaining hair from my head and end up taking the plunge.

Asker: Thanks so much, Michele. From this suggestion, I found corroboration at http://www.mdguidelines.com/shredder-tender-peat-agriculture. Now I just have to decide whether to rive off the tender part of this. ;-)
