Norwegian to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Government / Politics / state/fiscal budget language, letter of allocation
Norwegian term or phrase: kapittelposter
this word is (only) used in fiscal budgets. allocations and funding are based on dedicating money etc. to individual "chapters" in the budget.
I am uncertain whether "chapter items" is correct, or "chapter posts"? I find both in online searches...

I think the "chapter item" and "chapter post" examples found online are among the worst literal translations I've seen. It's "budget item" – see the links for examples.
