Norwegian term

Reservert transaksjon

Norwegian to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Bank account statement
In the description of a certain online transfer out of a checking account, the transaction is described as follows without naming the payee: "Ut fra konto: Overføring nettbank Reservert transaksjon."
I want to translate this as "Out from the account: Online transfer -- payee not named here."
In other words, I do NOT want to translate Reservert transaksjon as "Confidential transaction". I don't think
there is anything sinister on the part of the payer. It is important in this case because the translation I am performing is in a legal context and I think the payer is being accused of secreting assets against which there are parties who have claims.

Transaction pending / on authorization hold

Transaction pending in the UK.

My first hunch, though, had been ..subject to hono(u)r of a cheque / check in due course. An online transfer doesn't fit that scenario.
Example sentence:

En reservert transaksjon betyr kort sagt bare at pengene er reservert for transaksjonen sånn at ingen kan bruke dem fra sin konto, men at de ikke har blitt «fysisk» overført til din konto enda.

Note from asker:
You are correct. What I found was "Authorized but not yet debited." Or alternatively "Debit authorized but not yet applied." I think "pending" may be okay in the UK but it is too strong for ENUS. (It implies that there is a present legal liability of the accountholder for the amount.) Thus I would not want to accept "Debit authorized and pending but not yet applied."
Peer comment(s):

agree Enrique Bjarne Strand Ferrer : Its not a pending transaction, it's an authorization for a possible charge on a credit og debet card, typically done by car rental companies, hotels etc. "Authorization hold" is perfect
