Norwegian term or phrase: arbeid under spenning (AUS)
As an example, but this is not my source: "Arbeid under spenning (AUS) i høyspenningsanlegg er og vil bli et stadig viktigere hjelpemiddel for å finne rasjonelle metoder for montasje og vedlikehold som fyller dagens og framtidens krav."

I've found examples for "energised work" and "energized work" that might suffice, but is there any English acronym and/or other phrase for this?

Asker: Thanks! My context is Canadian English, where your suggestion seems preferred over "live working". (That also seems to be the case in the U.S., based on a quick look for OSHA references.)

live working

Explanation:
It's always a good idea to go to www.standard.no for these types of terms, as they use the English-langugae titles in the Norwegian standards. The UK Health and Safety use this term, too.

Example sentence(s):
  • Arbeid under spenning - Ledende klær for bruk ved nominelle vekselspenninger opp til 800 kV og ± 600 kV likespenning
  • Live working - Conductive clothing for use at nominal voltage up to 800 kV a.c. and ± 600 kV d.c.

Asker: Thanks Brigid. I'd forgotten the step of going there to look. Your suggestion is the better one for a UK context, so I'll store it away for future reference.
