Malay term or phrase: sunah
"...perkahwinan adalah sunah dan kehendak manusia..." what does this Islamic term sunah means? Britannica online dictionary explains it as follow:"Body of traditional social and legal custom and practice that constitutes proper observance of Islam."
Should I translate it as "legal custom" or "legal practice"?
And in another sentence it was used as "merupakan sunah Allah". Does is has the same meaning as in the first sentence?
