As in one offensive player covers one defencive player -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2011-06-01 11:44:28 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Another word used in connection with covering is guarding. To my understanding, covering is looser than guarding, i.e. when you cover another player you are possibly farther away from him or her than if you are guarding him or her. |
