... handling (see below) Explanation: "Cargo handling (loading and discharging/unloading of ship[s])". -- By the way, "stevedoring" seems to be American usage, at least typically. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevedoring#Usage A valid response, but it's sort of a funny word because of the "-r"+"ing".
