forest settlements Explanation: Algirdas.Matulevicius.-.Mazoji. |

centralised colonisation Explanation: centralised colonisation (UK spell.) centralized colonization (Am. spell.) “Schatull-“ denotes the Treasury, i.e., the central governmental power, as for example here http://www.dict.cc/?s=Schatullenverwalter Treasurer of the Chamber [Br.] -- Schatullenverwalter {m} [Preußen] (Prussia) Centralised colonisation - colonisation authorised and managed by a central government, in your case the duke. Examples: (1) “This article examines various efforts by Americans and Israelis to settle their respective frontiers by learning from each other. It describes how the Israeli government has developed programs to methodically establish numerous urban colonies within its borders. The author briefly mentions that the Mormon settlement of Utah is the ‘only comparable case of extensive, CENTRALIZED COLONIZATION by a distinct group.” http://atom.lib.byu.edu/smh/id/13467 (2) “As a result of the different British and French policies of colonisation, the Anglophone Caribbean has a long tradition of separate development, as opposed to centralisation which characterised the Antilles. Tin’s crucial difference has influenced the relationship between Caribbeans and the metropolises until the present. As I will show in this chapter, a link can be established between French CENTRALISED COLONISATION, the practice of (cultural) assimilation and the fact that the Antilles are. as French overseas departments, still officially part of France. Similarly. The independence of the Anglophone Caribbean in the mid-twentieth century can, to an extent, be related to the co-existence of centralisation and local self-government during the colonial period.” https://dspace.stir.ac.uk/bitstream/1893/84/1/THESIS_FINAL_8... (page 34 of file / enumerated page 27) (3) “As the leader of “practical Zionism,” which was supported by most of the East European Zionists, it was only natural for Warburg to lead the movement in its new “practical” phase. Since his first days in the movement, he promoted the so-called “work of the present” (Gegenwartsarbeit), which would lead eventually, in 1903, to organized and CENTRALIZED COLONIZATION in Palestine and to the appointment of Ruppin as head of the PO. Although Warburg was willing to accept Ruppin’s plans, it must be noted that his economic Weltanschauung in general was purely capitalistic and colonialist.” (Google books) http://tinyurl.com/ps47z7v (4) “Although tracking such movement is difficult due to the poor understanding of the region between the Murghab and Tedjen, the proliferation of small sites in the Kopet Dag foothills during the Late Bronze Age (Biscione 1977; Kohl 1981) suggests that settlement remains dynamic during the period, and Biscione cites the persistence of small sites during this period to suggest that populations remained fairly stable, if more difficult to trace. One model, then, is an uneven ripple effect from the west rather than a direct, CENTRALISED COLONISATION PROCESS.” “Illuminating the Black Sands: Survey and Settlement in the Bronze Age Murghab Delta, Turkmenistan / Steven Brett Markofsky / Thesis submitted for the degree of PhD Institute of Archaeology, University College London 2010 http://discovery.ucl.ac.uk/770433/1/770433.pdf page 289 |

government sponsored colonisation Explanation: While internal colonisation is more common and something I have heard of, I agree that it is not necessarily government run. Ducal colonisation does not exist, but government colonisation does. When the results are filtered, most turn out to be irrelevant. 'Government sponsored colonisation' is something I have heard of. Other verbs were not as popular like encouraged and supported. And this will take care of the treasury aspect. |

private colonisation Explanation: Since this is not government according to your last comment, then private colonisation. There are a few appropriate hits like http://books.google.lt/books?id=Ghah5S3usnsC&pg=PA299&lpg=PA... |
