innovations Explanation: This depends on your source text of course, but... If the source is, for example, a marketing text that was originally in English or is otherwise heavily influenced by English input (because, let's face it, all this novel terminology and even style of LT business language is basically adopted from English for the most part), it may very well be that simply "innovation" will work the best. Think, for example, about the phrase "drive innovation". In Lithuanian, you would say "skatinti inovacijų diegimą", but there is no need to backtranslate the "diegimą" because in LT it was simply tacked on to make the phrase more compatible with Lithuanian syntax norms... So, just something to think about. Otherwise, I would prefer the option proposed by Diana. |
