Latin term or phrase: Procol Harum
Is the name of the band that sang 'with a whiter shade of pale', how am I to translate the name of the group? Is this an accepted collocation? some say it's procul or prucul.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks for your effort but I am looking for an analysis of the words given, which I have already done myself. If it is latin I'm having trouble understanding it as it is written, maybe it is wrong. Thanks anyway.

agree  Péter Jutai: This is not latin, maybe the asker should ask the members of the group about their name. This is one of the Latinlike things that people knock up who doesn't know Latin. Like Ultima ratio regNum, that doesn't mean anything though it's an official motto...

agree  Sandra Mouton: Procol harum means (with a typo and a grammar error) 'far from these' with 'these' in the feminine form. Basically, and I agree with Peter, this seems to be a case of I-tried-for-a-bit-of-classical-style-and-shot-myself-in-the-foot.
