In Japanese, 構図 is a determination of placement of subjects within your picture frame. フレーミング in Japanese refer to a determination of angle (left/right/low/high) and distance (short/long) and it is part of 構図.

In English, a determination of placement of subjects is called “composition.” “Framing” has different meaning from its Japanese transliteration (フレーミング) as this English word refers to a technique of drawing attention to the particular subject within a picture frame by surround the subejct with something, hence framing.
