New and Emerging Sciences Explanation: Although this is the translation of a Chinese definition it should be applicable to Japanese: http://www.ichacha.net/新生科学技术领域.html 新生科学技术领域 = new and emerging areas of science and technology As a stand-alone word I would use the plural form of the noun rather than the singular. Personally, depending on the context of your translation, Cinefil's "Fledgeling Science" also seems to be an interesting option! |
