This is in response to your note:ハンマーネット refers to the same type of paint coating as ハンマートーン, but is used by Ohashi Chemical for their products. So, if you are looking for a general term, hammer paint would do.

Asker: Yeah it's a derivative of hammered paint (or "hammer tone"). I suspect it might be a kana version of some pseudo-French term like "Hammernette" but I can't find anything.
