loop defect Explanation: There are a few ways it could be said in English, but the most general term would probably be to call it a "loop defect". If it is a loop that would straighten out and correct itself when the net is pulled tight, it would just be called a "loose knot". If it is a loop that remains even though the knot is tight: To describe specifically the existence of the loop, it would most-likely be referred to as a "loop defect". More generally, the simple way to describe an error on a net would be to call it a "knot defect". For all errors on manufactured goods, the English phrase is "manufacturing defect". A long, but most descriptive way to say it in English would be: "A loop caused by a manufacturing defect in the knot-tying process".
