to get into Explanation: This depends on the formality of the translation, but my interpretation is that the player felt like he didn't really get into the game. This is not a very formal expression - something like he wasn't "captivated" or "interested" by the game sounds more formal, but he "didn't get into it" sounds more natural in my opinion. |
