This is from a diagram, with the numbers specified above.

My current translation is "Insert #3 into #4, matching the press-fit of #2."

I also thought of "#3 should be inserted into #4, matching the press-fit of #2"

I'm worried I have the latter part mistaken. I haven't translated ”のこと” in this context before, and have also never seen "マッチング," so I'd like to make sure of the accuracy of my translations.
