燃料コック付は、動的RES以前にメーター がRES表示のこと

Could anyone tell me what this sentence should be in English please? For a indication light.

automatic petcock
Explanation:
Isn&apost this about the motorcycle? Because the combination of 燃料コック and RES remind me about it.

I guess this bike has both the mechanical and automatic petcock equipped. The REServe indicator has to be turned on if the automatic petcock system should kick in to switch the supply of fuel from the main tank to the reserve tank, else the biker won&apost notice that his bike is on the reserve fuel because he has never turned the petcock manually. And the source text says that the LED has to be turned on before engaging the automatic change over.

Dynamic RES

Explanation:
I am not sure what "RES" is supposed to mean, but since "RES" is what would be displayed on the meter, I would leave it the way it is. Or - in case you cannot get its' meaning out of the context - consult the client.

agree  balius (X): 燃料コック and RES remind me a motorcycle, too. I think it would be better to add the word changeover to the Oikawa-san's suggestion.
