Japanese term or phrase: 常時後方
Here is the full sentence:
また、新しいバックモニタは、常時後方を表示できるようになりました。

This is about a rearview monitor that displays what is behind the machine, as the driver would not be able to see it from the driver's seat.
What I am not sure about is weather 常時後方 means "normal rearview", meaning the view you would see in a rearview mirror, where left and right are switched, as opposed to a view that you would get if you just mounted a camera to the back of the truck, facing to the back (sides would be just as if you turned around, and looked).
I am not sure I explained this well...
OR
Does 常時後方 means the monitor now able to display the rearview all the time? (I am doubting this because in that case I think they would say 後方を常時に表示できるようになりました, or 後方表示が常時にできるようになりました.
What do you think?

Notes to answerer
Asker: I don't think "backward" is the right word here. A "backward" display may be something like a display that is installed incorrectly (backwards) or showing the image backward. Rearview is the right word, same as rearview mirror in a car.
