neutral  jgraves: I don't think this is necessarily incorrect, but fair-faced has another meaning that implies it looks good, whereas uchipanashi is, literally, "as-poured," warts and all.

ただunfinishedも文脈的にはありえますので文脈にそって訳語を選んでください。


固まったコンクリートに全く手を加えない状態で美しい仕上がりを実現するには、高度な技術と細やかな現場管理が必要となります。
しかしながら、細心の注意と高度な技術を以って打放し(打ち放し)コンクリートを施工しても、様々な不具合が発生してしまうのが現実です。
また、何も手を加えていない状態のコンクリート自体は、耐久性や汚れ防止の機能は高くはありません。
このため、打ち上がったあとに最終的な仕上げ処理を施すことが必要となります。
