3 rows of 1 tree-species in 1 plot Explanation: I think what they mean is that they planted 3 rows of 1 type of pear trees in a plot, because trees are usually planted in rows in plantations. If there is only 1 tree in 3 rows, it's a bit too sparse. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 16 hrs (2014-06-24 00:03:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 3連 means either 3 in a row or 3 rows. Since the Japanese language expresses info in a zooming-in fashion from general to detail like in address and date, I though the rows are in a plot, but to interpret 1樹 as 1 species may be a bit hard... |
