Il giovane José è il terzo pittore in mostra e la freschezza polisemantica dei suoi dipinti iper-realisti, che l’artista voleva arricchire con un objet trouvé, la “mocha”, uno strumento-arma più corto e più largo del machete, usato per tagliare la canna da zucchero, arriva allo scambio INTERMEDIALE. I dipinti hanno un carattere estremamente discorsivo, sembrano fermi immagine di un video-documentario televisivo che fa una ricerca sul campo sulla situazione dei bambini disagiati e smaliziati dei sobborghi di una città cubana. Oppure, analogamente, si potrebbe trattare di un foto-reportage antropologico.

Es un juego de palabras basado en « cambio intermodal ». Un término que se usa en el ámbito de los transportes (sobre todo urbanos) y se refiere a desplazamientos en que los usuarios combinan diferentes medios de transporte: tren, metro, tranvía, autobús, etc.
El autor lo ha llamado “intermediale” para enfatizar la polisemia del pintor: imágenes pintadas que podrían venir de otro medio: no el de la pintura sino el de la televisión (concretamente los video documentarios).
Intermedial, igual que en italiano, es un neologismo forzado pero yo lo mantendría para acercarlo a “intermodal”.

Es un juego de palabras basado en « cambio intermodal ». Un término que se usa en el ámbito de los transportes (sobre todo urbanos) y se refiere a desplazamientos en que los usuarios combinan diferentes medios de transporte: tren, metro, tranvía, autobús, etc.
