Cercava di imitarmi in tutto e, talvolta, ***finiva per sbattere il naso come un vero imbranato. **:

questa é stata la prima parola che mi sono trovata a tradurre ai prof e allievi appena sbarcata in Francia nel lontano 2002. All'epoca la canzone imbranato riscuoteva un discreto successo :-) Un "imbranato" é "qualcuno che non ci sa fare con le persone". Si dice spesso, io lo sono spesso lol

Grazie 1000 a tutte per le varie idee..erano tutte buone per "imbranato" però cercavo qualcosa di meno "famigliare" per il mio testo, essendo un gatto di razza che parla e che si sente di classa "sup."...e il resto dello stile del monologo.

ho dunque mantenuto l'inizio della mia idea e optato per "maladroit".

S'il te faut donc un langage pas trop familier, il vaut mieux que tu optes pour "se cogner le nez", expression que je t'ai indiquée et reprise par Chéli.

Il m'est venu une autre idée pour la fin : "comme un vrai manchot".

Tu pourrais donc écrire : "... et finissait parfois par/ , finissant parfois par se cogner le nez/museau (ou s'écraser la face/le nez) comme un vrai manchot".
