Italian term or phrase: UCITS vs OPCVM
Cari colleghi,

avrei bisogno di un chiarimento sulla questione che sto per esporvi. In una brochure di presentazione di strumenti di investimento ricorre spesso il termine UCITS (Undertaking for Collective Investments in Transferable Securities), corrispondente all'abbreviazione francese OPCVM (Organisme de placement collectif en valeurs mobilières). Da quello che ho visto in rete mi sembra di aver capito che entrambe le soluzioni sono utilizzabili, ma non so se una sia più corretta dell'altra.
Nello specifico nel mio testo si parla di:
- compartimenti d'investimento UCITS IV;
- strumento UCITS;
- normativa UCITS;
- sotto la voce "Forma giuridica" si parla di "Comparto SICAV UCITS IV - Parte I"

Meglio lasciare l'abbreviazione inglese o usare OPCVM? E in quest'ultimo caso OPCVM anche per la forma giuridica?

A scanso di equivoci e salvo diversa richiesta del cliente (a cui sottoporrei la questione), lascerei la sigla inglese, comunque utilizzata in molti testi FR di finanza, con eventualmente l'equivalente inglese tra parentesi o in nota (una tantum).

Les frais de gestion maximum cumulés s'élevant à 3,10% sont composés des frais de gestion de ce compartiment et des frais maximum facturés par les UCITS et/ou UCIs dans lesquels le compartiment investit.

Con il termine ucit acronimo di "undertakings for collective investment in trasferable securities" si intende un fondo di investimento della comunità europea che può essere venduto liberalmente in altri paesi della comunità europea.
Gli ucits possono anche essere istituiti in centri offshore ed essere esenti da molte tasse, incluse quelle sui capital gains.
