In particolare gli edifici di Port-au-Prince sono stati progettati per resistere contro il crollo a terremoti di magnitudo 8 (quindi 32 volte più violenti del sisma che ha devastato Port-au-Prince il 12.01.2010, e ben 1000 volte più violenti di quello che ha raso al suolo Amatrice (I) il 24.08.2016), e per non subire significativi danni, mantenendo quindi la totale funzionalità, per terremoti aventi magnitudo fino a 6.5÷7.0 della scala Richter.
Ciò è stato possibile attraverso la ferrea applicazione di un diagramma di flusso a 13 fasi, a partire dall’assunzione della commessa e fino al montaggio delle opere. Il rigido controllo di qualità ha permesso di ottimizzare tutti i vari processi di progettazione, realizzazione, trasporto e **montaggio dei due edifici intelaiati in acciaio**, il tutto in accordo con quanto previsto dagli Eurocodici EC8-EC3.
