ready about Explanation: The general command would be Stand by, but this is always followed by to, e.g. lower the jib. The most common maneuver requiring general attention is tacking, and here Ready About is generally used. In Italy we would shout Pronto alla manovra. Must be a huge yacht to require a button, may be to warn the galley? |
