Se il venditore prevede di non poter consegnare i prodotti alla data stabilita da contratto, dovrà prontamente darne avviso per iscritto all'acquirente indicando la data di consegna prevista. Nel caso in cui il ritardo superi le 6 settimane, è inteso che il venditore possa risolvere il contratto relativamente ai prodotti la cui consegna è ritardata con un preavviso di 10 giorni, da comunicarsi per iscritto (anche via telefax) al venditore.
