Italian term or phrase: confessioni non cattoliche e prive di intesa
I am translating a document that is discussing a regional law which is deemed to be unconstitutional but I am having difficulty with the following phrase:

Luoghi di culto: divieto di condizioni differenziate per confessioni non cattoliche e prive di intesa

The part I'm having difficulty with is "prive di intesa"

Places of worship: ban on different conditions for non-denominational and non-affiliated religions?

Any insight is much appreciated.

non-Catholic denominations without an understanding

Explanation:
I think it means there is no agreement (understanding) between the denomination and the state, maybe because the denomination is no longer subject to the 1929 Lateran Treaty as a result of the 1984 revisions. But this is not my expertise.

-> Thanks, though I'm more with Shera on this - her explanation seems better. There's a better EN word than denominatiion or faith but (aargh) just haven't been able to think of it. Maybe confession? Rite?
