Italian term or phrase: potenza
Is it just "power" ?
-----------------------

Ha bensì incontrato delle venette fluoritiche alla profondità prevista, tuttavia la mineralizzazione appare strutturalmente chiusa nell'area di intersezione con il sondaggio (all'incirca a 190 metri dalla superficie);

torque

Explanation:
This has to do with mining so I would use torque instead of power.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi, not really sure.

disagree  Cornelius Gillen: from the context, I would say thickness (or width); does not seem to have anything to do with power or torque

thickness

Explanation:
Following the tip from Vincent Lemma (see Discussion)
Spanish "potencia" = thickness / power / strength (of a vein)
https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1991/0579/report.pdf

"power" doesn't seem to be appropriate to the present context.

"strength (of a vein)" could be appropriate jargon, but could be (mis)understood as literally how much force/pressure can be withstood, which doesn't seem relevant here.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S001379521...

Thus only "thickness" remains, and it can be measured in metres, so it seems to fit the context.

More refined terms also exist, such as "true width" ...
https://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/true width
... but are probably not justified unless specified in the source text.

agree  Cornelius Gillen: Zanichelli dictionary has thickness for potenza in a geology context; I am certain that this is the only translation in this instance
