Die wheels / spiraled nuts / spiraled pieces Explanation: Just some suggestion: looking at the diagram I cannot understand if they work as a vice or they are supposed to grind or cut into the profile. However, I do not think there is a standard name for either. Crielesi has "lathe nut" for "chiocciola del tornio", which i do not see as relevant. And of course chiocciola is also a die (for tap and die) as you can see here: www.scatisrl.it/portfolio-view/viti-e-chiocciole-trapezie/ - also not really relevant. |
