Italian term or phrase: flusso di importi
The term is part of a syllabus for financial mathematics. The exact context is:
Indici temporali e di variabilità di un flusso di importi.

This follows a few brief sentences about interest rate term structures and bonds. Try as I will I just can't find the right words for 'flusso di importi' - I've not worked out the rest of the sentence either but am thinking along the lines of time index and variable index.

Any help gratefully received!

payment flows
Explanation:
Importo is usually amount. I have found importi used for payments in Liguee at, http://www.linguee.com/english-italian/search?source=auto&qu... so it is an imaginative way of saying 'cash flows', which is another option because in finance it is either money in or money out. It isn't rocket science. Italian is always a challenge to translate.

Notes to answerer
Asker: I thought about cash flows as a possible solution but couldn't find much in the way of confirmation of the phrase being used in the context of bonds, time index and variable index. I was wondering whether it was instead being used in some different way!
